Bio

Kyra Guy, PhD is a Postdoctoral Associate in Global Health at the University of Maryland and the Associate Director of the GRIT Lab. Her research focuses on reducing stigma and improving access to cancer prevention and care among people living with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa. Kyra’s work combines community-based participatory research, implementation science, and health systems approaches to promote equity in global health. She is passionate about mentoring students, building international partnerships, and translating research into real-world impact.
